Really quick introduction from me (seriously, less than three minutes, though I blame that in part on my cold) to say hi and get things started.
As I explain briefly in the podcast itself I launched my first 'real' business yesterday. Nothing happened. No fanfare, no rush of sales, nada. While I expected it and it doesn't bother me too much, some part of me feels a little disappointed. I'm around for the long game and I'm just stubborn enough (I hope!) to make it happen, though it occurred to me that even with the massive amount of business advice out there and people talking about their startups... they often don't start talking until they have some degree of success.
More fool them - I'm beginning early!
These podcasts are basically a story of working hard, discovery, pain, pleasure, bitter disappointment, and hopefully in the end the journey towards something great. Or, you know, you can interpret all that as 'Stubborn Graduate Wanna-Be Entrepreneur talking about stuff and trying to make things sell'. Either way.
